VICE PRESIDENT
Mr. Henry has extensive domestic and international experience in project management, operations and strategic planning in energy-related industries. Bill has over thirty five years of experience in the natural gas industry including six years in LNG project management. He has experience as a marketer of natural gas, pipeline construction, pipeline operations and permitting for projects at both the federal and state levels. Bill was president of Northern Border Pipeline during the period when the 822 mile 42-inch pipeline was constructed at a cost of $1.5 billion. Bill also administered marketing and construction contracts for the Destin project, a 220 mile 36-inch pipeline. He developed and marketed over 10 Bcf of natural gas salt storage capacity. He transformed NorAm pipeline system from a sales pipeline of 400 Bcf/yr to a transportation pipeline with over 800 Bcf/yr of through-put. During his tenure with NorAm, he also was a key member of the negotiating team that acquired over $2 billion of assets for NorAm.
AREAS OF EXPERTISE
Mr. Henry has over thirty-five years of oil and gas experience and has lived and worked in both the United States and Canada. Bill has experience in all segments of the natural gas industry from drilling and production, natural gas distribution systems, natural gas pipelines and storage and LNG facilities.
Bill has provided consulting services in project management, site studies and permitting of LNG projects in both the United States and in the Bahamas. Mr. Henry has extensive experience working on securing permits on various projects, including LNG, with Federal agencies such as FERC, USCG, EPA and the COE. Bill has also worked with various State agencies such as the TRRC, TCEQ and the PUC.
Mr. Henry has worked as the spokesman to secure public support for various oil and gas projects, including LNG. These included presentations before general public audiences and various government officials. Previously, he held various positions in Engineering, Marketing, Underground Gas Storage, Pipeline Operations and Strategic Planning. He also has extensive experience in the approval and construction of LNG facilities through his nine year employment at Freeport LNG. He retired from Freeport LNG on August 1, 2009 as Vice President-Pipelines and Regulatory.
